Dear Festival participants,
Due to ill health Richard Gill unfortunately has to withdraw from the Australian Combined Schools Music Festival. Richard very much regrets not being able to proceed and wishes all participants a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
Of course we wish Richard speedy return to good health and will acknowledge his contribution to the festival in the program.
At the same time we are extremely fortunate that Benjamin Northey has agreed to step in. Benjamin is the Chief Conductor of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and the Associate Conductor of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. He is very pleased to have been invited and looks forward to being part of the festival.
